The pioneer and founder of the UK’s first gospel community choir (LCGC).Under his direction and tuition some of the industry’s finest gospel and R’n’B singers have blossomed and found successful careers. Bazil has been awarded an MBE for “services to music".


The London Community Gospel Choir have performed with Tom Jones, Elton John, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Annie Lenox, Rod Stuart, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Adele, Gorillas, Blur, Nick Jonas, One Republic, Gregory Porter, Justine Timberlake - the list goes on… They have released 35 albums so far and are recognised as one of the top Gospel Choirs in the world.

James Hawkins is a true innovator within the Choir industry. The Co-founder of the 'Missing People Choir' who melted the nations heart whilst performing on 'BRITAINS Got Talent', James's infectious personality is now focussed on his latest project 'Choirs with Purpose', who released a Top 40 Album 'Stand Together' in 2017 


James Hawkins Music has worked with Michelle McManus, Paul Carrack, Rick Astley, Carol Decker, Kerry Ellis, Nik Kershaw, Lesley Garrett, G4, ESPN and Disney, ITV, BBC, Channel 5, The Military Wives, Rock Choir, The Games Maker’s Choir, & the Invictus Choir.

FAQ'S

festival location and timings 

What is the full address of the festival? 

The festival is being held in the grounds of Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens. 

Kelmarsh, Northampton, Northamptonshire, NN6 9LY 

What time does the festival start? 

You are welcome to come and set up for the weekend from 12noon on the Friday 31st May. The festival will begin with an opening ceremony between 1800-1900

What time does the festival finish? 

We will finish with a closing ceremony at 1800 on the Sunday evening, 2nd June. 

Where can I park? 

Parking for all cars will be next to the main festival site, but please note this may be a little bit of a walk from your car to the camping area, be prepared to be able to carry all your belongings/tent. 


CAMPING AND SANITARY 

Do I have to bring my own tent? 

Yes, unless you’re paying extra for the glamping experience, in which case you will be staying in a bell tent that is already pitched 

 (please note that the glamping in a bell tent experience comes at an extra cost when paying for your festival ticket). 

Is there a restriction on tent size? 

YES! We have a limited capacity on site and ask that you only bring a sensible/ normal sized family tents only. Please do not bring a 8/10 berth mega-tents as there is simply not the space to do so. 

Can I bring a campervan / caravan?

You are welcome to bring a campeRvan and caravan and will be in a designated area. Please note, the area for campervans and caravans will not be on the main festival site itself, 

but will be within easy reach/walking distance 

Can campervans and tents camp together? 

A small 2-4 man tent may camp next to a campervan or caravan in the camper/caravan designated area.

Can I bring my own cooking facilities? 

Raised small camping stoves and BBQs are allowed, but nothing too big or that will cause any damage to the grass. 

Can I bring a gazebo or event shelter? 

no gazebo’s or event shelters are allowed. 

Will there be showers and toilets?

The whole site will be serviced with plenty of toilets and some showers.

Am I allowed a fire at my tent? 

Yes, but strictly small fires and raised off the ground so not to damage the grass. There will be site supervisors surveying the area to check that fires are within the guidelines. 

I am glamping in a bell tent But my friend is bringing their own tent, can we camp together? 

No, unfortunately not. The glamping bell tents will be in a separate designated area. 

Will the campsite be lit? 

There will be minimal lighting at night, we recommend you bring a camping light/torch. 


TICKETS 

I bought a ticket, but can now no longer attend, can I have a refund? 

Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund but we invite you to gift your ticket to someone you know or sell it on. 

When will I receive my ticket/s? 

you will receive an e-ticket on booking with a barcode, please bring this with you and show on entry .

What does the festival ticket include? 

Your ticket entitles you to entrance to the festival, a space to camp, and gives you access to all the workshops, activities, experiences, performances thaT ARE on offer. 


No food or drinks are included in the ticket price. Merchandise and stall holders will be present so you may wish to bring spending money also FOR THERAPIES LIKE MASSAGE.

I live locally, so can I come just for the day? 

we recommend to experience the whole weekend to its full capacity you stay for as much as you can. If you wish to just come along for the day and not sleep over please note the ticket price remains the same price. YOU ARE FREE TO COME AND GO AS YOU PLEASE.


FOOD AND DRINK 

What food and drink is available at the festival? 

Food and drink will be available to buy during the festival from the Wild Voice Cafe, lovingly prepared by our Wild Voice Foodie team.There will also be vegan cafe, a pizza food stall and a coffee cart serving hot fresh coffee. Alcohol will be available from the 2 Wild Voice bars. 

How do I pay for food and drink during the festival? 

Cash only. 

I have dietary requirements, will there be food there suitable for me? 

The Wild Voice cafe will serve vegetarian food as part of the menu and there will be some dietary requirements catered for such as gluten free - but please note if you have a severe allergy, then we do recommend you bring your own supplies such as your own loaf of bread which you can then hand to the catering team who will endeavour to prepare you something. ???!!!! 

Can I bring my own alcohol? 

UNFORTUNATELY NOT. ONLY ALCOHOL PURCHASED ON-SITE CAN BE CONSUMED. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO BRING ALCOHOL INTO THE EVENT AS IT WILL BE CONFISCATED BY SECURITY. 


OTHER BITS AND BOBS 

I am interested in holding a stall at the festival, who do I contact? 

If you have something you wish to share and would like a stall at the festival please contact jess@wildvoiceadventures.com with more details. 

Can I bring my pet? 

Unfortunately, we have a no animals allowed policy. 

Will I need any spending money? 


There may be merchandise and stall holders you wish to visit/shop at, please bring both cash and card in case cards are not accepted. 

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

AGED 16 PLUS ONLY. UNDER 18'S MUST NOT CONSUME ALCOHOL ON-SITE.
